Hi Sarah,
So far, and I hope it is the only occasion, it is the only software I have tried to install on the mac with problems accepting the serial key.
It is Dimension pro from CakeWalk and they are aware of the problem.
They suggest that I make sure I have administrator priveledges and to repair disk permissions, which I have done, with no luck. I went to my desk top and looked at information on the macintosh.hd and apparently I have custom access and no matter what I try, I can't change it.

Thank you,

Trevor

When you created your account you by default had admin privileges. . What is the exact error you are getting?

I am trying to put a program on my MacBook pro and it won’t go on.
Apparently one of the reasons for it not going on is because I have to have administrator priveledges.
I opened up info on the Macintosh.hd and I only have custom priveledges.
How do I change my priveledges to administrator please.

Thank you,

Trevor
