OK I do not think you can do what you want with System pref's but under
VO+f8 voice over utility you can make portable settings!
I have not done this myself but the option is there!
Open VO+f8 and you should be put on the general option and arrow across
and you will find portable pref's and a option to set them up!
What you will need to do after that I do not know!
[But have a thumb drive handy *smile*]
