No, I think I am being misunderstood. If I want to access files in my Dropbox then I must be able to open it!!! I cannot open it either in Applications or on the Dock as I get the message Dropbox has no Windows. Actually when you start it forget it. The folder is where you put it and you no longer once you start the app need to even deal with it. it just syncks and stuff.

The drop box icon is usually found in your status menu. Hit vo m twice to
get there.  Also, wwhen you installed drop box, it asked you where you
wanted the folder, that's where you will find it in the folder you selected.
I usually put my in my documents folder.  Hth
