Hello Folks: I am currently running the latest version of the paid version of VoiceDream on an iPhone 5S with the latest IOS update.
Here is my issue: Using VoiceDream’s browser with VoiceOver, I am able to locate the zipped DAISY book and, when I dubble tap and hold on the “download” button, one of the options is to “open”. When I dubble tap on “open” I received a message that the file is downloading and, it shows up in VoiceDream and all works as it should. Once again, all of this is accomplished from the VoiceDream app itself. My problem is, that I am not able to duplicate this on other iPhones; it is necessary to use a third party downloading option – as the mannual states. I have removed all file management apps from my phone and still, VoiceDream downloades and opens the zipped DAISY files. Question: why does this work on my iPhone and not on other iPhones? If someone could forward this message to the Viphone group for me, I would appreciate it. Apparently, I am band from sending emails because of some infraction or another. I can, however, receive emails.
