Hello everybody

As you probably know by now if you have your finger on the pulse of
virtualisation technologies, the battle of the giants is really hotting up now.
As somebody who is fortunate enough to be able to evaluate both Parallels
Desktop 10 and Fusion Professional 7 in fully licensed modes, I can tell you
that there is a really noticeable speed increase in both of these products with
the release of Apple’s latest technologies and APIs build into the operating
system to make it both Mavericks and Yosemite compatible. I am currently
running Windows 8.1 Professional under Fusion 7 and Lynne is as I write
finishing off the setup of the sane operating system under Parallels. By the
way, we’re going to make it easy for anybody who wants to download the new
evaluation of Fusion, if, that is, there’s any demand for it. We will post it
in an accessible place and let you grab it at your heart’s content.

That aside, I can honestly say that running Fusion now with this new version is
just like running Windows in a native environment. They’ve obviously done a
lot of fine tuning and the result is staring me in the face right now. And it
honestly could not have come at a better time. Just as we’re expanding what
we’re offering to our clients and friends, (more about that soon), so this
comes along.

Actually it was released on 2 September, but I just didn’t get around do doing
anything about it until now. All I can say is “Wow!”

Anybody want it made available for download?

Gordon
