with quick nav on, press the left and up arrow keys at the same time. this
activates the rotor. each time you press these keys, you will hear things
like navigation, sentences, lines, words, and finally, characters.

Subject: Cursoring by character When Reading Emails
Hi, Folks. I Just ordered clean My Mac, and got an email with the license
key. However, I’m unable to cursor by character over the key, even with
QuickNav on and reading text. How do I change this setting? Thanks in
advance.
