Matthew Whether necessary or not, this isn’t really the place to discuss Windows. We do run a sister group where that is permissible, of course. Windows-Access would naturally bring one to assume same.
As it happens, I too must use that OS for work, but only for work related issues. I deliberately and very determinedly avoid it for my own computing purposes. Lynne, at work, is totally OS X. But she’s lucky, her small office does as she dictates, not as others do. She runs Parallels at home sometimes because yes there are still a small number of clients with whom she cannot communicate any other way than on MSN and we try to keep that off our Macs. We don’t use Adium any longer because we don’t really have a need for it. When we go on Twitter, now and then, there are dedicated clients for OS X and iOS so we don’t need Windows for that. Anyway, I am rambling. On 20 Sep 2014, at 13:28, Matthew Chao <[email protected]> wrote: Thanks, Gordon. Trying to stay away from that thread going in that direction, but there are times when "the other OS" is necessary for some of us. And yes, I have more than enough memory, 8GB.
