I do h ave the same password but not the same ID David, it works well on all
other devices, like I said even the Mac Book Air. I know when I was in
Ireland, the chap in the store went in to settings somewhere or other and
set it to recognise both. Thank you though for passing on the below
information. All your contributions regarding the Mac are excellent indeed.

I believe that you should perhaps be changing the Store you use using a
single ID rather than having multiple IDs.
Apple does not like people having multiple Apple IDs.
