Hello all,

I’ve had a look at the insertion point problem again and have discovered that
what is being reported when pressing VO-F4-F4 is the actual position of the
insertion point on the computer screen, not the position of the insertion point
as it would appear on the printed page. As far as I can see, this is useless to
us, but by adjusting the zoom, I’ve been able to get it closer to what we need.

To calibrate the insertion point, find out the position of the first tab stop
on a line, then use Cmd-< or Cmd-> until VO-F4-F4 gives approximately the
correct distance from the left-hand margin. It isn’t perfect, but it’s better
than what we have by default.

Cheers,

Anne
