There might be a delay from the time the code was sent to when you receive it. If you do receive it but at that time you closed out, try again and it should appear momentarily. Keep doing this until you have entered the verification code.

Thanks to Andy Collins one of my problems is sorted. The keyboard is now

But now I've got a really really strange problem in deed.
After I've entered my passcode for my iPhone, you know how your supposed
to receive a message with a verification code in? Well I'm not getting
this at all and all its saying is enter the verification code sent to
then a load of black circles and the end of my number 91. It might take
a moment for the code to arrive.

I'm definitely connected to my network, O2 because its saying in the
status bar 3 of 5 bars.

Anyway that's the update.
