I have suggested to Freedom Scientific too that they do something similar, NVDA later did this, only I don't know if NVDA does it in stereo. What I suggested to FS was that JFW could offer a setting where the text of icons could be spoken in stereo and with a pitch change, according to where the icon was on the screen. This was perhaps 5 or 6 years back, but it fell on Deaf ears. Glenn
