Hello, I am running the latest Yosemite and have a firewire connected external hard disk for time machine and SuperDuper! backup.
Every time I start my iMac I get a system alert to the effect that my computer cannot read my external hard disk drive. I have options to ignore or eject the external hard disk. I always choose the ignore option and then everything works fine. Why does the above alert happen and can I do anything to stop it? Many thanks.
