Hi.
I’m wanting to use a bluetooth audio device to listen to my mac through.
In the main this sis fine, I have it set so that when I turn on my device all
of the audio routes through it, and when I turn it off it goes back to the
internal speakers, almost anyway!
The exception is the sound effects.
If I go into system preferences sound effects, and tell them to output through
the selected device with the bluetooth device turned on it works fine, until
the bluetooth device is turned off and the sounds go back to the internal
audio. fair enough because now that the bluetooth audio device has disconnected
this becomes the selected device.
However, and here’s my question, when I then turn back on the bluetooth device,
the audio jumps back to it, however even though the selected device has changed
back to the bluetooth audio device, the sound effects continue to play through
the internal speakers.
Anyone idea whats going on here, and how I can make the sound effects
seamlessly move between devices as the rest of the audio hhappily does.
Thanks.
