I believe as stated it will. If you find it easier you can set up a profile to only have ether net.
1. go to network prefs 2. Click locations, then edit 3. click add and name it. 4. delete the services you don't want.. Now when you switch to that location you can only have Ethernet. I use this for a static ip I have at home and a different setting at UNLV.
