I resisted one of these all in one until a few weeks ago. All I wanted was a basic printer that would do the occasional printing for me and also be able to print from Mac and iOS devices. I settled on a Cannon 3550 as it has buttons and not a visual menu. To be honest I have not yet looked at the scanner element of it but I am very pleased with it having connected it to my wi-fi and now I can print from Windows and iOS devices without the bother of a USB cable. It is fairly cheap also. Got it from PC World but I think it is available through Amazon. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Judy Pryor" <[email protected]>

Subject: [Mac-access]: all in one printers

My old printer is not working, and I am not happy with my scanner. Just wondered if all in one printers are a good idea and if any brand could be recommended. Or is it better not to have an all in one printer.
