In short a VPN creates a Virtual Private Network between you and the
destination - in other words a tunnel which is completely private for
your data - which is most handy particularly if you're using Public Wifi
hotspots, stops people from ease droppoing on what you're doing with
your data, prevents people from getting into the data on your device etc.
