Hi Paul.
IIRC, Quebec is the only province that uses a single license plate
system, so if you have any friends or family in or near "la belle
province", one of them might be able to help you. Alternatively, you
may want to check with your local Canadian Tire store. They might be
able to get something like this for you either directly or from
another CTC in Quebec.
