I recently purchased a G4 system, so with a tear in my eye, my trusty old
Powermac system is up for sale (SOB! BLUBBER!)
8100 with a Sonnet G3/266 processor (so don't think "601 speed")
128Mb ram
11.5GB of drives
External 6x4x16 Yamaha CDRW (I retired the internal 2X reader)
Asante Ethernet card (ready to rock on either DSL or cable!)
Radius Videovision video capture card (S-VHS and composite)
Two 15" Apple Multiscan displays (that's more real estate than a Cinema
Display... er, except it's tres beige!)
Kensington Orbit trackball (nice input device with two buttons)
Apple Stylewriter II printer.
Mac OS 8.6 disks. Plus, a System 7.5.3 partition to capture and output
through the Radius card.
I'm asking $800 obo for the whole kit and kaboodle. I also have a Yamaha CBX
D5 digital audio interface, providing 2 in, 4 out digital audio, with all
the pro connections. When added to this system, you can be making music for
under a grand!
Also, are there any Canadian Mac classified websites out there? I'll be
posting this system at buysellzone.com, but want to cover as much ground as
possible.
