I don't know what to do with this beast and I'm not going to shoot it.
My Quadra 950 has been crowded off my desk by a Daystar Genesis 800+ acquired
last week.
It has everything a Q950 should have, including a dozen matched 16-Meg 60ns
30-pin SIMMs, a RasterOps MoviePak Presenter system with RasterOps 24STV
24-bit card for S-video in / out, maxed VRAM for 32nd video out, the Radius
PhotoEngine four-DSP accelerator for Photoshop, external CD-ROM drive, the
Apple PowerPC PDS Processor Upgrade card, and a Seagate SCSI WREN ST410800n
SCSI-2 hard drive (10.8 Gigs, formats to 9.1 Gigs). Software is just what
you'd expect...I used this machine to put out a Mac user group newsletter
using Quark 4.1 and Adobe Acrobat.
Before I rip it apart and start listing the RAM, drive, cards, power supply
and box on eBay is there anyone who would like the whole thing as a going
concern ???
Don't offer $50.00 for it...the 192 megs of matched RAM in three sets of four
is worth more than that ...per set !
