Hi again Bill,

I did a fairly complicated 49 page color job from up here in Nova Scotia
for a client back in Chicago. All they had to do was to go to the Kinko
location nearest them that I selected and pick it up. I had Kinkos print
4 sets and the client was given the files that Kinkos received for backup.

It was my first use of that capacity and I sent Quark Express files. I
had to send 3 or 4 hours of the debris in the middle of the night, but
it worked fine. That's the high-end part of the deal.

If you have but a few sheets in b & w, and you know someone with a
better printer, just squirt it over to them and then take the "proofs"
to some copying machine of the quality you want. (Possible problems:
different fonts, different versions, different systems...)

Kinkos or the like however, should have much of what's necessary to
receive and print properly. As I remember it, there are specs and
suggestions on their web pages that could only have improved since I
last looked at them. There's a cost for the downloading and a cost for
the copying.

If there's not a rush deadline, everything could be sent back to you
snail mail if that fits your budget in shopping for inexpensive providers.

Good luck,

Bob
