A while ago I got a series of emails from someone on the QuadList ? EVERY
sentence ended with a question mark ? It was like he had only one piece of
punctuation to work with and was working it to death ?
I sent him a note to tell him that some prankster has switched his (.) and his
(?) keys arround and described where each should be on the keyboard ? He missed
it entirely and replied that his Keyboard was OK ?
I gave up on him eventually ?
On another issue, I have been around the block on internet sites like and unlike
the Low End Mac List sites and I must honestly say that I have never found a more
literate bunch of webbers than the ones who subscribe to these lists ? The level
of correctness in the spelling and grammar is astoundingly high when you consider
how few people can touch-type and how many people are functionally illiterate ?
Must be the Macintosh influence ?
