Why not?<chuckle... I sense a soul who doesn't take life too seriously in you!!!> For *me* the Sony's price tag is great: $0!!! But, if I had to pay for it I'd say it's probably worth $200-300 (simply b/c you can use floppies with it + good zoom/macro) vs. the $600 I saw this year's model going for at Business (Office?) Depot. The ability to re-use old floppies amuses me to no end and since I normally don't have a use for my old floppies also gives me reason to snap pictures. Although it's big & heavy & and over-priced it does have some things to commend it: an AWESOME zoom (8x real, 2x digital on top=16x) and good macro feature (1 cm focus). If you place it on a solid object or have a tripod it'll take good snap shots from 30 or 40 m distance (got some bird pics that were Ok). I would certainly not spend my own money on it! <http://homepage.mac.com/abacadabra/.Pictures/01%20First%20stop/1204%20Rubus %20palmate.JPG> L8r, Eric. -- Mac Canada is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
