Rant on... Only to the truly 'retentive' people who refuse to accept someone at face value. Email is unlike any other written medium because we are usually in a very comfortable setting without mom or the teacher hovering over our shoulder. It is the only written medium where most write as they speak so long as they do not consider it a formal piece of correspondence. (btw the day I consider any list or forum a place where I recommend others start spell checking is the day I burn my Linguistics research and degree.) If you understand the message well enough to think you can correct it, you don't need to.
