I used to use Eudora 5.1 (before OSX Mail). I had a number of filters working; but the setup is a bit convoluted so I can't remember any specifics. However I was always able to do it by using the Eudora Help for instructions. You should also set preferences to show all, again I can't remember but I seem to recall it was easy in Eudora preferences (something about "show all useless Junk" or similar "witty" checkbox).
