Yes, Will, it was an act of justice. You refuse to follow the rules of the list. I will not tolerate that. You have no right to remain on any list when you don't follow the rules. Read this paragraph from our netiquette page <http://lowendmac.com/lists/netiquette.shtml>, which subscribers are supposed to read before posting to the list: "Mom is watching. The list manager has the right to block posting privileges or ban anyone from the list for vulgarity, trolling, flaming, name calling, threats, or other behavior detrimental to this online community." Your dad's lawyer can read that and know you don't have a legal leg to stand on. I will ban addresses as you attempt to subscribe them to the list. If you keep up that behavior, I will contact each and every one of your ISPs and email services (mac.com, gosympatico.ca, excite.com, email.com, and netscape.net are ones I already know about) and report *you* for violating their terms of service, such as this from Sympatico's site: "4. Rules and Conduct. In consideration of the availability, and your use, of the Services, you agree, while visiting the SLI Network, not to "b. defame, abuse, stalk, harass, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights of others, including without limitation, rights relating to privacy and publicity;" Your repeated subscribing under new addresses (on 2001:10:23, 2001:10:31, and 2001:11:03 using six different email addresses) after being banned provides evidence that you are deliberately violating the terms of the list. Further, the list archive will demonstrate that you are harassing members of the list. I am not a lawyer, but my business has one. (Not my dad -- my business.) If you attempt legal action, you will lose. If you attempt to subscribe under any additional email address from this point forward, we will report you to "abuse" at each and every domain we have record of you using. You have made yourself a persona non grata on the Mac Canada email list. We will take whatever steps are necessary to keep you off the list.
