Hello. I have recently signed up with rogers@home. and i have a few questions (not necessarily directed to the @home service. )
1. The instalition guy gave me a 100baseT pci card. i assume it is a pc only card but does anyone know?its made by sohoware. i am wary of plugging it in (justin case something bad happens, my whole family is using this computer) 2. Currently i have several macs on a 8 port hub. it has an uplink port and everyhitng. what i was wondering is how would i connect this to a dsl router so that i could access the computers hooked up to the router. (internet access on the machines on the hub is neither required nor desired). In other words, can i just but any dsl router or do i need one with a special uplink port? any recomended models? 3.
