At the time, Carlton was the Tech Reporter for the Wall Street Journal. Apple made it *very* clear that the color was called Bondi. They even sent out a press release describing the beach in Australia it was named after. > - "shaped like a cone" -- egg, cone, whatever. These days, one would >say "iMac-shaped." Yes, you know that. But someone not familiar with the shape of the iMac would think "Cone shaped? That's stupid." We almost always mentally envision a cone as being vertical. Imagine what kind of computer that would be. There's a *huge* difference between a cone and an egg. If Carlton meant egg-shaped, he should have said egg-shaped. Calling it a cone is false, gives your reader the wrong impression and is simply bad writing. > - "able to glow in the dark" -- Mine does. Doesn't your screen work? ;-) LOL If you mean that the screen gives off light, that's correct. Every computer does and, in that case if that's what Carlton meant, it would not have been worthy of comment. But *you* know what he meant. And he was wrong.
