If that's the case, you won't be upset by my forwarding your "for sale" message to Beatware. There's a world of difference between promotional trinkets - buttons, hats, stickers, etc. - and copies of commercial software distributed for evaluation purposes to reviewers. Hand-outs like those don't really qualify for the label "collectable". I wonder if your publishers at the Strathroy Age, MacNN, or whomever you happen to be writing for now would agree with your position? 'Nuff said. I've made my position clear regarding your unethical behaviour, taken appropriate steps, and hopefully made it clear to others on the listserv that you are trying to profit from selling software that was given to you free. That's as far as I'm going to take it. But it brings all of our profession down when journalists do things like this. Think about it.
