Nope, Access Manager is actually a program made by Network TeleSystems (now Efficient Networks) called EnterNet 100. Bell Sympatico has had ongoing licenses for that software since version 1.0 i believe. However, if i'm not mistaken that software has now been end of life'd and is replaced by EnterNet 300 (the version available from efficient.com) hence the licensing problems. I'm actually the "mac guy" at one of the montreal Sympatico help desks and believe you me, i want Sympatico to get a license for EnterNet 300 more than anyone. there are no other options for 9.2 users with these problems and shelling out 30$ USD for EnterNet 300 isn't what i call an option.
anyhow, to answer your question, i've not had too much PERSONAL experience with Enternet 300 v1.23, however previous versions of EnterNet 300 that i've used were great. I know the newer version integrates itself a bit more with the OS, but it's a windows approach to integration (ie, emmulated modem etc...). however unless you frequently switch between dial and HSE it shouldn't be an issue. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask ok? l8r -steve > Hi Steve, > Did not know that was available, will check it out. > What are the benefits of using that app? Stability?
