HI Scott, I've been with sympatico for close ta 6 years now (give or take a few months). no tech is required what so ever for the mac side of things regardless of what serves you have with them. You don't even need the CD that is shipped with them to log onto the system. I've got my OS 8.6 and OS X online without the CD, and yes i have the CD, but its never left the packaging.
To me the CD is useless, all you need is you ID, PSS and the dialup number(s), and that's basically it, the connection and e-mail retrieval are simple matters to set up.
