So much for the fair use provision in US law (which more or less gets applied to Canadian law IIRC from this list). I really hope the DMCA gets kicked in the teeth though I doubt that'll happen. Big business is too powerful. This means that in 50 (5) years we won't be able to make backups of our aging DVDs to ensure the content isn't lost. Ain't corporations great? (not that they produce anything worthwhile...
