There's also:
"Items for sale should generally be posted to the LEM Swap List. Exceptions
are made for regional lists (Canada, UK, Australia) and non-Mac lists (Apple
II, Lisa, Newton). You many mention a specific item you are auctioning on
the appropriate list -- but auction postings are prohibited on the Swap
list."

I guess it's up to the list mom to make decisions regarding all those
crooked individuals that are trying to turn a fast, commercial buck by
dumping their stuff on mac-canada at list members' & advertisers' expense
multiple times a year (take deep breath). I see nothing wrong with getting
rid of your stuff once in a while, even if it does happen more than once a
year.

I intentionally don't subscribe to the swaplist b/c the bulk of posts are
not germane to me, here in Toronto. I'd rather get the occasional [repeat]
Canadian posting than a whole slew of American, Australian, British, Dutch,
German, etc. postings that I'll never act on.

Anyway, sorry everyone for two messages on this topic in one day.

Eric.
