Hello, I was going to put out a SW 4500 out by the curb for the locals to grab, but I
figured I'd give all you Mac-Canada Torontonians "first dibs" on it (it's a great way
to prevent stuff from being landfilled... if only more Canadians would avoid throwing
stuff in the garbage or buying SUVs... like those moronic (destructive?
self-absorbed?) Torontonians who *need* an SUV for city driving [time for a
society-wide campaign to inform [potential] SUV owners about the impact of their habit
(on par with smoking)]). Excuse the rant. I've been doing far too much research on the
impact of SUVs on society and the environment of late that I just can't understand
what would possess a person to buy one, or even why drivers aren't complete ostracised
(I guess those blinders are why we're one of the worst polluters in the world)
(*especially* in a city where automobiles are the single greatest source of smog
producing chemicals and of CO2).

Anyway...

Free for pickup:

SW 4500 (in original box) that "works". It prints extremely well *but* it has a
tendency of eating paper. One of the paper rollers (top left (of three) at paper exit)
mangles paper when it comes through and you'll have to deal with that to get it
working 100%. Since I only have one serial port Mac in my collection I see no need to
keep more junk lying around so out it goes...

Comes with... power supply, one B&W cartridge (mostly full, I think), two colour
cartridges (mostly full, and brand spanking new), and a photo colour cartridge (no
idea how full it is).

I live in downtown Toronto (the Annex), 100 m N of Bloor, along Howland Ave between
Spadina and Bathurst.

Let me know if you want it (my girlfriend will be happy to see it disappear).

Eric.
