All of the routers will allow appletalk on the wired switch on the router, however the wireless side may not.
Netgear routers do support appletalk on the wireless side, as do Asante wireless routers. Linksys do not.
I can attest to that. I put an Airport card in my Pismo, and found it worked with a LinkSys wireless router for TCP/IP, but would not allow me to print from the Pismo to an H-P 4ML printer using AppleTalk. The store took back the LinkSys and sold me an Asante wireless router which works perfectly. Great Mac support!
