actually, speaking with my Ontario New Democratic Youth hat on, most of the NDP's web services are done by Web Networks, Canada's only unionized web company. They run a customized version of the GPL'ed toolkit "ActionApps". I run a few NDP sites myself - namely ONDY.ca and MaxSilverman.ca (he's the youngest candidate in Canada :-) ) - on RedHat and Apache.

If anyone's interested, some of us nerdy dippers are thinking of getting an Open Source / Intellectual Property caucus started within the party.
