I have an ancient AudioVision 14 Display

Maybe you should toss it. It will cost more for a new adapter than it will for a used VGA monitor.

I heard tonight that BestByte in Whitby, Ontario is clearing out a bunch of new 17 and 19-inch flat-screen Samsung VGA CRTs for about $299.00 each. If they are doing it there may be similar deals elsewhere.

I picked up a gorgeous 21-inch CRT a couple of months ago at one of the discount computer stores on Warden near Ellesmere in Toronto for $199.00.

And Saturday is coming...which means that you can pick up a Pentium based system at a garage sale for next to nothing and keep the monitor and donate the garbage parts (CPU, Microsoft Kbd & mouse) to the Goodwill.
