AFAIK Laser toner is fused to the paper with heat and the various toner colors will not "blend" as they can with inkjet technology. I have never tried printing from a laser to photo paper, but back a few years using high end canon laser printers, my experience was that they liked "laser" quality bond paper and attempts to print on glossy paper was inviting all kinds of trouble.am thinking of colour laser...
How does colour laser look, say on photo paper?
I have not looked at the quality and versatility of today's lower cost lasers, but I would bet that they still fuse toner with heat and the resolution is not as high as ink jets.
Just printing "those" images infrequently, more for show around rather than commercial use.
I'm thinking of looking into Laser to replace the Epson Stylus CX5400 only because the high cost of the ink. The quality of the Epson is fabulous but the cost of two sets of ink cartridges is equal to the cost of the printer.
I'll repost after I do some research... :-)
Cheers David
