I got my website registered in Canada but have it hosted in the USA. Domain registry was thru canadiandomain.ca
They were very efficient and prompt in their service. Located in Kingston, ON. I found them thru a simple Google search.
I set up my website at freewebs.com
I wanted a host that had templates so that I would not have to learn HTML.
So far it has worked out just fine.
