Hey,Finally found the shareware app I mentioned earlier although, as I said before, it is for a pc not a mac. Here's the link:
I have a very strange request. Does anyone on the list have an old Apple IIe card for an LC-series Mac? I have tracked down an old 5.25" Apple floppy drive and want to see if I can copy over some of my old databases and files I used in the past.
Looking on eBay etc didn't turn anything up. Obviously I don't want to spend much for this piece of history.
Any thoughts would be great.

To get the most out of this, you have to download the zip files and read the documentation contained in them. Takes a while to sort out but you end up being able to read Apple II disks, as well as Amiga and Commodore disks on your or someone else's pc. Pc 5.25" floppies are all over the place and you can probably pick up a whole unit, maybe a 486 or old pentium to get at the material you want then just donate it back to the thrift store. Hope this helps you out.
