Ray is very helpful, making sure you get what you need and can successfully install and use it. When I bought a printer, an upgrade DVD drive and software, I didn't shop around because I didn't mind paying a fair price which included support with the merchandise. Delivery charges were up front, there were no hidden fees, and helpful advice was readily available.
Delivery to your door is handy and cost effective if you live outside of a major city and/or have to battle traffic to get there.
A while ago I think there was a discussion similar to this re: cameras and whether to buy at a specialty shop where they KNOW the product and will support you, vs a chain-mart where all they want is your money and not to see you again if you have problems. There is more to the value of something than just the cost...
