I thought voice over internet sounded good, but I won't cancel my landline. Cogeco was doing some work in our neighbourhood and just shut down our cable and internet for five straight days from 9-5 while they worked on their system. I could do without cable tv no problem, but not being able to get my e-mail or surf was just wrong. You must keep in mind that if you lose your internet, you will lose your telephone service. My two cents. Tom
