Some weeks ago we had a discussion about RAM. I gained some good advice from the discussion and am now exploring buying a 1Gb memory stick for my Powerbook (G4 1.33 Ghz).

However, I don't know why there is such variation in price. For example, CanadaRAM has a Samsung card for $273 and a generic card is $243. Over at Tigerdirect.ca they have a number of PC2700 1GB cards but they are all under $200. What is the difference between these various cards?

Thanks, Mark
