I'm thinking that once a month might be a more practical compromise. I
can see this list turning into a swap list if we're not careful, and,
it also might start attracting con-artists if the volume of buys and
sells went up.

Also, limiting things to personal sales might be helpful. I often see
posts on the swap list of someone who obviously has a little bit of a
Mac resale business on the side and they are quite annoying to say the
least (I never see anything I want b/c these people seem to deal in
bulk quantities of older equipment [and, I've done my damndest to
eliminate old equipment <ahem> junk]).
