Nope you read correctly, however the person I sold it to is now also
having problems loading on his G3 iBook!. So I "think" it may be a bad
software issue!
(how can "soft" ware be soft when its on a CD?)<g>

Maybe  should have asked the list first when the problem first happened.
Your suggestion of copying the CD to the HD was one of Adobe's suggestions,
and that didn't work either.

Although purchased from a large retail supplier who will NOT take back
the product
am very tempted to drop a letter c/w the software to Adobe to see what
happens.

The product was C$135.00 plus tax, so at this point am out maybe $155.25.

Asked friends if they had the earlier version, yes, how for Windows only.

So the return route to Adobe might be the best method.

Or as others have suggestion a different program not tied to Adobe.

The latter may well be the best suggestion
