Why not just set your email program settings to not leave messages on
the server and delete messages from the server etc.

I've been getting messages from sympatico for the past several weeks that
my mailbox/es are full and I must sign on to the website to get rid of
unwanted mail. Yet, although my Mac money is good enough to pay for their
service, I can't log on because I have... Safari. Emails to support get an
automated response. Sitting on hold got me their recordings telling me to
sign on to the website. Speaking to a real person got me the response to
download IE to use on sympatico pages. It looks like it's time to go back
to my local independent phone company and their 3MB highspeed. No big deal
because I'm rarely getting sympatico's ultra 5MB anyway.
