No, I don't keep detailed records of who was on what list. Neither does
the list server. It does notify me when it unsubscribes someone; that's
all it does. I check that log for patterns -- like a whole bunch of AOL
users last week or a whole lot of @home users over the past several days.
In those cases I assume the problem isn't the subscriber's email address
but the mail server and put them back on. And I don't keep any records,
since I have limited space on Maclaunch for the 30 email lists I manage.

I was to learn later in life that we tend to meet any new situation by
reorganizing, and what a wonderful method it can be for creating the
illusion of progress while producing confusion, inefficiency, and
demoralization. - Petronius
