Its possible to use certain 64 meg SIMMS in some macs that apple
claims can use up to 32 MB SIMMS. By extension, it also might be
possible to use the larger SIMMS in the 6100 DOS cards. If you could
find the docs on the chipset that might help.
When you say you insatlled a L2 cache, do you m,ean in the DOS card itself ?

You might of corrupted the PC Setup control panel or something in
Windows. I doubt something HW fried.
