VirtualPC 3.0, W2k Pro crashes quite often while running on my flat panel iMac 800 in OS9.2.2. I get the "unexpectedly quit" message and have to restart the PC again. When I do, it beeps and tells me: Memory Configuration Change -- press any key to continue. Then it brings up a screen with a bunch of configuration settings, and I have to F10 to record and exit. Then it goes through the startup process, and every time one disk needs to be checked for consistency. So I go through that process and it then starts up. FWIW, three times seems to be the magic number - after that, it runs quite a while. I have allocated 384MB of RAM to VPC, but that memory configuration screen shows 129MB, and the preferences shows 128. The preferences panel says I can increase the amount of memory available to VPC (which I've done) but it doesn't seem to increase. Is that 128MB an upper limit?
