Hi Purchased a Matrox millennium card, MIL2P/4F pc version. There are no jumpers on this card which I can see Thought I'd flash it for the mac using the tools from Matrox. Removed the old bio's fine. Error reported updating bios aborting Machine 4400 will not boot with the card installed now.
Remove, install in lowend pc. Update bios using tools from Matrox site. In dos, incorrect bio's warning, bios upgrade aborted Atleast it boots with the card in. The pc bio's upgrade finds the file which it asks for but it must be the wrong one. So I've made a mess. Anyone know how I may resurrect this card for either platform. I kept threads about this from the pci list but I've sadly lost them, I'm hopeful one of the knowledgeable folk here may have a idea without the thread being shattered into many as it tends to on the pci list.
