I got the card working, but in a roundabout way: 1) Recieved a stripped 7200/120 from a friend, 2) Put 8500/180's innards into 7200 case (I'll never go back again! :>) 3) Installed 1 4.3GB HD from 9500/200 4) Installed all of the loose Mac memory I can find 5) Installed PC Compatibility card in 7200 case 6) Installed MacOS 8.1 7) Installed PC Setup 1.6.4 8) Installed MS-DOS. No more ghost partitions on FDISK! 9) Installed DOS drivers for Sound Blaster 16 card from Creative 10) Installed CuteMouse (3k!) mouse driver 11) Installed Apple DOS software 10) Installed System Shock, one of the main reasons for tinkering with the card. Works OK, some of the intro files stutter a bit.
For now, the card will live in the FrankenMac.
